There are some experienced players as well apart from Dhawan who could have been appointed as captains like Hardik Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Manish Pandey. All three of them are pretty much experienced, Bhuvi has led Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL and Manish Pandey has been captaining his domestic team for the past few years. Also, Hardik has a great cricketing mind as we have seen him getting involved in the small on-ground meetings with the captains. But, Dhawan has the best of experience amongst all. A charming and always smiling person like him will surely be a great thing to the side.

I call myself as one of the biggest Sachin Tendulkar fans in this world. Watched every single game when he played but was completely away from the sport for couple of months, when he hung up his boots in 2013. I believe that Cricket is an emotion and penning down my thoughts towards the game is what I'm known for. Cheers to life and Cricket..
