This season of the Indian Premier League had earlier resumed in India after the Covid-19 situation was under control but the second wave could not let that happen. After it got postponed to September, the second leg is now taking place in UAE. We have witnessed some cracker of games so far this year and now some teams are fighting hard for the playoffs berth. With Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore already qualified, here are the chances of the below-mentioned teams who can storm into the top four:

Mumbai Indians

This team is never out of the competition. Even by being in the last four right now, they have a higher percentage of getting into the playoffs than others because of the work they have done in the past. MI have always shown that one should never lose hope. They have 5 wins in their bank from 12 games and are left with two must-win games. They need to win both their encounters with a good net run rate to ensure their place in the playoffs.

Kolkata Knight Riders

Kolkata Knight Riders are just nailing the second leg. They are in the fourth position with 6 wins in 13 games. All the players are performing and making an effort to qualify for the playoffs. Kolkata will be playing a decider against Rajasthan, also hoping that MI would lose at least one of their remaining games. But if Mumbai win against Rajasthan and Hyderabad, then Morgan’s men will have to win against the Royals and that too with a good net run rate to qualify.

Rajasthan Royals

Royals are also one of the teams that did not get a good start but now they are going well. Samson & Co. will have to win both their games against Mumbai and Kolkata to qualify directly. But if they lose against MI and win against KKR then the net run rate will decide who will go through.
