2003 Adelaide Test: India won by 4 wickets
That square cut from Rahul Dravid off Stuart MacGill will be in the minds of every Indian fan. This was one of the most splendid victory by the Indians Down Under. Having batting first, Australia posted a mammoth 556 on the board.
In reply, Rahul Dravid played the best innings of his life of 233, helping his side put 523 runs. Yes, this didn’t end in a draw because of Ajit Agarkar’s remarkable reverse swing spells. He picked up 6 wickets in the 2nd innings, keeping Australia out of the game.
The target of 233 odd runs was achievable and once again Dravid took the responsibility and took his side to a phenomenal victory.
